In the year when the firm Polaroid has announced discontinuance of the production of the paper for the Polaroid I made this project - collection of portraits of the people who actively participate in my life. Polaroid photos represent the equivalent to our recollection. They have a veil of uniqueness around them, a sort of visualization of the subjective filter through which we transmit our experience and turn it into a memory. In this case it is happening before us - photographer and the photographed - while we observe how the moment that has just passed is turning to a memory. It is magic. By pushing Polaroid out of production, the new technology has turned not just Polaroid into a memory, but the magic itself.
