Soon after the end of the II World War, twenty-eight year old Smiljan Nemčanin, a pilot, lawyer, rower, amateur photographer & my grand mother's older brother disappeared.  Until this day we don't know where was he laid to rest.   

As I inherited all that was left behind him (photographs, letters, documents) I have a wish to pull out of oblivion his short presence in this world, by combining his talent & my own with the existing documentation.  

The first phase of the project was realized during the workshop  FILM & PHOTOGRAPHY at BELEF, Belgrade 2007.
